Bunty was invited to make the 14 Stations of the Cross for this small Church in Black Rock, Tobago. She made each Station inside a clay calabash shape, to mirror Luise Kimme’s painting of Christ being baptized by John the Baptist. The Church is beautifully decorated with the work of artists such as Anna Serrao and Albert, a woodcarver, as well as many pieces by Kimme. Ask in the village for times of Sunday service, when the church will be open.
