Course and Events

Raku course

Raku is a rapid process of making and firing clay pieces with glaze in a gas kiln. It is a social event tinged with the excitement of the fire and the spontaneous, unpredictable results obtained.

Workshops are divided into 2 days. On the first, participants will make pots by hand suitable for the firing. On the second, one week later, we fire the pots in the raku kiln.

Open day

You are invited to join us on our Open Days, Saturday November 19th and Sunday 20th 2011 when Bunty will be showing a collection of handmade pieces.  We will also be launching  the  Brand New Studio and you are invited to celebrate with us. We will be open from 10am until 6pm on both days.  Please bring your picnics and enjoy the garden.
